Dr. Daniels, National Autism Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, directs the NIH’s Office of National Autism Coordination and serves as Executive Secretary of the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee.

KAREN SIMMONS

In 1998, Karen Simmons a mother of seven, founded Autism Today, the first online global autism resource center, winning the Internet Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001 from Multiple Streams of Income. 

This session will focus on a fundamental principle: "All people matter, not just some." We’ll delve into the crucial issues and advancements in autism support and advocacy, reinforcing that every individual’s needs and contributions are valued and essential.
