A heartfelt chat about what love truly means.
Dear Friends,
Valentine’s Day can bring up a mix of feelings, especially when love is often shown in movies, ads, or on TV. Shows like Love on the Spectrum and The Good
Doctor have helped spotlight autistic relationships, but they also remind us that love doesn’t look the same for everyone.
To me, love doesn’t need a script. It can show up in romantic partnerships, close friendships, chosen family, shared hobbies - or even in a little self-care.
Valentine’s Day can also be a fun excuse to create welcoming spaces and ways to connect, especially for those who find social settings tricky.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you! Email me anytime at karen@autismtoday.com and share your thoughts, stories, or ideas. Connecting with you is one of my favorite
parts of what I do.
